Going 3 phase usually means two jobs: changing the supply from the street, and upgrading the switchboard to suit. Most electricians can only do the second. We're Level 2 accredited, so we handle both, from the mains to the last circuit breaker, with an upfront price before any work starts.

Do I need 3 phase power?
If you're running a workshop, heavy machinery or a fast EV charger, or big appliances keep tripping breakers, it's worth a look. If not, single phase is often fine, and we'll tell you so.
Can any electrician do a 3 phase upgrade?
The switchboard side, yes. Changing the supply from the network needs a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider. We're both, so it's one booking instead of two.
Will my switchboard need replacing?
Often, yes. Older boards rarely have the room or the protection 3 phase needs. We check yours first and only quote what the job needs.
